Nice article, Brian. I agree that in some ways the technology of today makes this the argument of our time, though I think the field of video games has a lot to say about it. I also agree with some that there is a religious side to this argument — but rather than using this to dismiss it, it makes the simulation hypothesis one of the more interesting theories that can bridge the gap between science and mysticism. My own thoughts are here on medium and in a book coming out of the same name on the 20th anniversary of the Matrix.

While we don’t necessarily come to same conclusions, this is a good argument and discussion to have — good food for thought!
