Of course if you were writing this in 1919- 100 years ago — you would’ve written that exploring space at all or going to the Moon are inconceivable — given our limited knowledge of the universe and physics we didn’t anticipate the breakthroughs in the next 100 years which would allow for interplanetary colonization you are writing about in the 100 years to come.
For the next 100 years- you may be right- the future is interplanetary (using technologies mostly developed in the past 50 years), but the next 1000 years- probably interstellar.
I would restate today: given our limited knowledge of the universe and physics we aren’t anticipating the breakthroughs that we will discover in the next 100 years that will allow for interstellar travel in the 100–1000 years after that!
